ORHANIYE - KIZKUMU
There is an antique fortress on the small island at
the middle of the bay. Don't be suprised if you see the
people walking on the sea as you get closer to Orhaniye -
Kizkumu. According to the legend a young girl escaping
from the pirates through sand from her skirt to stop an
oncoming ship! There is also an antique fortress on the

KUMLUBUK
At the south part of Turunc and famous for its wonderful sands. A short walk to the southeast part of this island you can reach a hill on which there is a cave with stalagmites and stalactites and galleries from ancient times. It is a very good place to visit for adventure lovers and budding archaelogists as there are remains of the "Hellenistic" age in nearby Amos which is situated at the northwest of the village. |

PARADISE ISLAND
Paradise (its ancient name being "Nimera"), Island is located at the southeast of the Marmaris gulf. It is joined to the land with a man made narrow corridor. It is a very popular island again because of its beautiful landscape, which has been untouched. The prosphoric cave exhibits an interesting picture for visitors. The Aquarium bay at the south of the island has the purity of crystal with its many blue tones. It is possible to see here the fish floks around the excursion boats coming into the bay. |
